About Us As part of Adventist Health System, Florida Hospital, a 1,901-bed tertiary care center is the largest healthcare provider in Central Florida and is the nation's leader in cardiac care. Through FHL, Florida Hospital Clinical Laboratories has provided anatomic pathology and clinical testing to our local communities since 1984. The Florida Hospital network supporting Florida Hospital Laboratory is comprised of  7 hospital based laboratories including the 30,000 square foot core lab located at Florida Hospital Orlando. Within the Central Florida tri-county area strategically located laboratories provide the service connectivity to meet the healthcare needs of more than 1,000 physicians offices and 37 nursing homes. In addition, Florida Hospital Laboratory provides reference lab services for hospitals throughout the Southeast.
